Best Natural Ways to Remove Makeup

Taking off
your makeup after a long, busy day is definitely the last thing you feel like
doing, right? However, we all know how important it is to sleep on clean,
moisturised skin. Unfortunately, there are no fast ways to let you go to sleep
a minute sooner when you have makeup on.

While there
are always wipes and makeup removers within reach that can get the job done in
a heartbeat, nothing compares to the all-natural beauty routine that leaves the
skin rejuvenated and refreshed. Below are some great natural, budget-friendly
alternatives for effectively removing makeup fast and easy!

Coconut Oil

You will be
amazed at how well it works. Besides a fantastic body moisturiser, coconut oil
can also break down stubborn substances used in makeup products (even
water-resistant), such as mascaras and eye shadows.

You don’t
need to scrub and pull at your face like crazy to get rid of all that makeup.
You just scoop out a little coconut oil (it becomes solid at room temperature)
and warm it up between your fingers. Then, smooth it over your face (avoiding
the eyes) and wipe off with ORGANIC cotton wool ball (see below – important
note). Or you could use the oil directly on a cotton ball and apply. A couple
of repeats are probably necessary to remove all makeup.

Now, some
girls use baby oil for the same purpose and, for some of them, it might be an
effective method indeed. However, keep in mind that baby oil on oily skin might
clog the pores and cause pimples to appear out of nowhere. Better use on dry
complexions. Alternatively, you could mix some milk with a few drops of almond

For even
better-looking, healthy skin, always prefer organic cotton wool
This is because standard cotton
balls are full of chemicals, synthetics, perfumes, and compounds that can
irritate the skin and cause rashes. Also, organic cotton balls are disinfected
with hydrogen peroxide (vs. chlorine that’s used to disinfect standard cotton
balls); hence, there are no dioxin leftovers in their fibres. Plus, they are
pesticide free (industrial cotton farms use 25% of pesticides globally).

2. Honey & Baking Soda

Make a paste by
mixing honey and baking soda
and apply to your face. The baking soda will
help clean and lightly exfoliate the skin, and remove makeup, while the honey
will deeply moisturise and heal at the same time. Simply add a dash of baking
soda on top of a little honey (use a washcloth or organic cotton ball to
combine the ingredients) and gently rub the paste on your skin. Rinse, and you
are done. It is no secret that this cleanser is the most favoured by beauty
bloggers around the world, and you will see why for yourself!

Fill your
kitchen or bathroom sink with some hot water (hot boiling hot, though) and lean
over. The steam will help unclog the pores, making it easier for you to remove
your makeup by simply using a face soap. Steaming your face is also an
excellent idea for after you have removed your makeup with coconut oil. In this
case, take a clean washcloth or organic cotton ball and soak it in the water.
Place it on your face (after it cools off a bit) and remove when it is cooled
completely. You will feel your face so clean, with no sign of makeup at all!

organic, natural ingredients borrowed from Mother Nature and these super-easy
methods, you can all enjoy a radiant, youthful, and healthy-looking skin for
many decades to come, for sure!

 Remember it
is just an opinion, and it may work different for everyone.
