Crate British is a subscription box service that provides you with British sweets and snacks. Not only do they ship within the UK but they also offer worldwide shipping so anyone can enjoy these British treats!

You can choose to order a one off box if you wanted to try one box to see how you got on or if you wanted to buy a box as a gift.

You can then also subscribe for 3,6 or 12 months. Price will vary depending if you are in the UK or outside of the UK. It is between £9.99 and £9.08 a month depending on your subscription type for UK customers.

The box I received contained:

Maynards Bassetts soft jellies – wild safari

Hannah’s Jazzles

Candy factory – zoo pop

Pombear potato snacks – cheese and onion

Dairy milk freddo

Nestle lion – white chocolate

Terry’s chocolate orange

Bounty

Pick n mix –  sugar coated glow worms

As you can see it was a mix of sweets, crisps and chocolate and a good variety of things to try. I am excited as a few of these things I have never had before! It is a great way to try new treats.

You can also view previous boxes to get an idea of what is included!

I think it such a great idea and I will be taking my box to work with me to keep in my drawer and work my way through!

The Vegan Larder supplies a wide range of subscription and gift food boxes, as well as individual items. They make cooking, snacking and eating plant based exciting, healthy and easy. They were listed as the Best Vegan Subscription Box by The Independent!

Each box is packed with at least 7 products, exciting cooking helpers such as super sauces, special dipping oils, marinades and spice mixes, a sweet treat (sometimes two!), healthy snacks and something unexpected.

The Vegan Larder only uses products which are completely vegan and palm oil free (with a
gluten free option). They also focus on independent and ethical suppliers, especially those who are not well known, or who have limited stockists. This makes each box truly exciting to open!

I wanted to show you what was included in the March box this month to give you an idea of the variety of products:

Hoisin Sauce by The Garlic Farm

Steenberg Organic Herby Lemon Stuffing

Hot Beetroot and Horseradish Relish by Gingerbeard Preserves

Creative Nature’s Organic Chia and Cacao Superfood Brownie

Vegan Creamy Easter Eggs

Boundless Activated Nuts and Seeds

Lime, Chilli and Ginger Energy Bar by Hala Bar

Nim’s Beetroot and Pineapple Crisps

I am currently working my way through using the products, the creme eggs did not last long and I will be making the brownies this week! I really like the variety of the products included and the chance to try things I haven’t seen before.

It is a great idea for anyone vegan/ wanting to try new things or anyone with an allergy that avoids dairy.

You may think that being dairy free/vegan will limit what chocolate and treats you can have but this really isn’t the case. It can be a pain checking every label and knowing what you can and can’t have but there are plenty of chocolate brands out there. Vegan Town have come up with the Vegan Treat Box, where they put together a selection of vegan treats/chocolate.

The box is £19.99 and you can also save money on this by subscribing to 3 months at a time. It is a great way to save the hassle of going shopping/searching online as to what chocolate is dairy free or vegan. It is also a great way to try new things you didn’t know were out there. I didn’t even know you could get vegan smarties!

Each box will vary, so this is showing what I received in mine. You can see there are several large bars, as well as smaller treats and there is a really good variety of things included.

My favorite items were the vegan smarties and the ichoc cookie bar. I love all of the ichoc bars and they are my favourite vegan chocolate apart from vegos.

I think it is great value for money as the box was jammed packed! This would make an amazing Christmas gift or anyone vegan or dairy free too 🙂

Who wouldn’t want a box of chocolate delivered to their door?!

I love subscription boxes, for beauty products or for food. The best ones are where you don’t have to commit to 12 months and where you know you are going to get things that you will love.

The Vegan Kind already offer a food/lifestyle box but now they have recently introduced a beauty box.

In the last few months you will know I have adapted to a vegan diet and I am also trying to introduce more vegan/cruelty free make up and beauty products into my life. A box like this was ideal for me to try.

The beauty box is a mix of skincare, cosmetics and beauty products delivered every two months and it is from £12.75 per box plus £3.15 UK p&p. If you join their newsletter you can get £5 off this (a pop up box will appear on their website offering you this!)

The August box contained:

Miss Patisserie Watermelon Bath Slab (RRP £5.50)

Sukin Paw Paw Ointment 25ml (RRP £6.99)

Harpers Candles Sweet Pea Soy Wax Candle (RRP £5.00)

Rawganic The Pure Hydrating 3-in-1 Facial Wipe (RRP £3.00)

GlitterEyes Goddess Glow ‘GlowUp’ Highlighter (RRP £7.99)

BONUS ITEM: Utan and Tone Tan Gummies (RRP £18.00)

My favourite product in this box has to be the bath slab as I love bath products (massive Lush fan!). I love the colours of it and you don’t need much to create an amazing bath. It fizzes like a bath bomb and creates magical unicorn mermaid water 😉 Plus it smells delicious.

I haven’t burnt the candle yet but I took the lid off and had it next to the bed as it smells so good!

I have used a paw paw before, I like to use this kind of thing on my lips as well as a multi purpose balm to use on my hair and nails when on the go.It is great to tame fly aways and also good to use on your hands/cuticles.

The pressed pigment is super cute as you get the holder and you add it in to the holder yourself. It looks like a great colour and I look forward to trying it.

I am loving the wipes as I quite often like to use one in the evening to refresh my face if I haven’t been wearing make up and don’t want to do my full cleanse/tone regime. They are really delicate on your face too.

I must admit, I am intrigued by the tan gummies and not too sure what to expect from them?!

You can read more about this specific box here. I really love discovering new things!

One thing I hate about this time of year, constantly having to shave my legs if I want to wear shorts or a dress. No matter how hard I tried, I would always cut myself or miss a patch. if I survived the bathroom ordeal I would then come out in bumps/a rash. I tried to only shave them once a week but with this weather and wanted to get my legs out I really needed to take control and invest in a better razor/ shaving regime.

I had read a lot of great things about Friction Free Shaving online and wanted to try it myself. You buy the original box with everything you need in and then can subscribe and pick how often you are sent new razor blades or the shaving products.

In the box you receive a great brochure that explains each step and what each product does. It really is a great set.

I don’t usually scrub before I shave, but I followed the steps in my box and not only were my legs super smooth and it did a better job than my usual razor, I found my legs wern’t sore at all and they felt really moisturised. I would recommend this to anyone that struggles with shaving usually as it really has changed things for me 🙂
