Models own : Hypergel

These new nail polishes from models own look amazing, they give that perfect gel manicure effect without all the hassle of having to go and get a manicure.

Models own : Hypergel

Shade : Heather

They are easy to apply and I was expecting them to take ages to dry but they didn’t take long at all.

I only used one coat and it gave great coverage as usually when I do my nails I use two coats as the first usually looks patchy but I think as this is a thicker nail polish you can get away with one 🙂

CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2015 : MAKE UP

Make up

The Swag Bag

Small £9.99

Big £12.99

I was looking for a new make up bag to carry round in my handbag and this one caught my eye. They do lots of different bags, all different designs and slogans and also in a variety of sizes. This one is perfect for everyday use to carry round my essentials in my handbag.

Urban decay vice 4

£43

I have only ever used the Naked palettes before so this was a pleasant change. The Vice 4 comes inside an eye catching bag and the packaging is multicoloured to match the eyeshadow shades. Since changing my hair to a crazy unicorn/mermaid combo this will come in handy so I can make my eyes more colourful too! The shades are highly pigmented and its worth investing in a more expensive palette like this as you cant really match the quality of Urban Decay eyeshadows.

Dr paw paw – tinted peach pink balm

£6.95

I am a massive Dr Paw Paw fan, I reviewed the red one over a year ago here. I also love the original but this was my first time trying the peach. It is a great lip balm and really does make your lips super soft whilst adding a hint of colour. The original one can also be used as a multi purpose balm as it is not tinted 🙂

Charlotte Tilbury colour morphing eyeshadow pencil

Mesmerising mink

£19

Charlotte Tilbury is one of those brands that everyone now loves, I hadn’t heard of them until this year but they do some great products. The colour chameleon eye pencils adapt with your eye colour and compliment your eyes. There are different shades depending on your eyes. I have blue eyes so the shade that was recommended for me is mesmerising mink, it really helps your blue eyes to stand out. I would love to know if anyone else has used these? The creamy texture is easy to apply and the product is long lasting 😉

China glaze mini mixers

£14.99

I adore nail products and Christmas is the best time to get hold of limited edition sets and also minis like this. It is a fab way to try lots of new shades as I hate paying for a full size nail polish and then realise I don’t actually like it once I have put it on. This set has 6 colours, a mixture of glittery, matte and shimmery. This set is from Sally’s and they often have the small gift sets on 3 for 2 nearer to Christmas so I would recommend going in store to have a look.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope it has helped to inspire you for gift ideas!

Please note the items featured are a mixture of things I have purchased myself, things I have won(I enter lots of competitions!) and PR samples.

Nail art pens

I love these new nail art pens I have been using from www.presentsformen.co.uk. They are great to create new looks and spice up your nails.

This is my first time using nail art pens and I found them easy to use, I hope with more practice I can draw neater with them but as I don’t have a steady hand anyway they don’t look the neatest. I think I did a good job though as a first attempt, I also got my friend to do one hand for me!

The pack comes with various different colour that you can use as a normal polish or use the fine nib to draw with, it also has some great design ideas.

As well as this super cool nail art kit, the website offers unusual gifts for women and men. They have such a great range on their site, even things I didn’t know existed so definitely check out their top 100 quirky gifts.

Binky London

Binky London is a brand I hadn’t tried before so I was excited to receive some goodies in the post. The brand is owned by Binky from Made In Chelsea and is available to purchase here.

The above lipsticks are very reasonably priced at £2.95 each. The lipsticks glide on nicely and have an almost shimmery look to them. The formula contains Vitamin E and feels very light and moisturising.

Lipstick:
Top pic is No3 Bloom
Bottom pic is No1 Pout

The nail polishes are also a great price, at £2.95 each. You can see below the two shades I tried. The above picture shows one coat and how great the pigment is. After painting my nails with both shades it was time to see how they lasted. I am not one to use base/top coats or anything like that, so after applying the polish to my nails they lasted an amazing 4-5 days without chipping, for me I usually chip my nails after a day! I can imagine with more care and with a base/top coat they would last much longer!

Nail Polish:
Right shade is Purple

Left shade is Cobolt

If you plan on ordering anything, get your order in before 31st March and use code: TRADEMARK10 🙂
