Trying some of the Technic make up range

One of my new favourite make up brands is Technic. I reviewed a few of their products last year here and I am now trying some more of their range.

Technic make up

The get gorgeous highlighting powder is such a beautiful gold shade that shimmers in the light. I have swatched this on my hand for you to see how the shade comes out:

I really love this highlighting shade and I think it will be great for that bronzed, sun kissed look in the summer!

The colour correcting setting powder is a really great finishing powder to set your make up in place. It is easy to use and you only need a small amount on your brush 🙂

The brow pen is easy to use, the shade I picked it dark brown:

It is easy to use as it is a felt tip nib, you can have it as thick or as thin as needed.

The megalash mascara in black, left my lashes looking longer and thicker and I was really impressed!

Lisa Blur: lipsticks

Another new brand that I had not tried before is Lisa Blur. I got my hands on two of her Xtreme lipsticks.

Top to bottom:
Not shy
Bar Crawl

Left to right:

Bar Crawl

Both lipsticks were so creamy to apply and they are highly pigmented so you only need a small amount for full coverage. The staying power is insane as well. What more could you ask for from a lipstick?!

Not shy is a beautiful pinky plum shade and Bar crawl is more of an aubergine purple. This particular range has 13 different shades to choose from and they are priced really reasonably at £15 each.

Sometimes lipsticks make my lips feel dry but these felt really nice on my lips, It didn’t even feel like I had anything on them.

I am hoping to try some other products from this brand as I really an impressed so far.

Know cosmetics : no dark shadows

I love trying new make up from brands I haven’t tried before. I had seen a few reviews online for a brand called Know cosmetics and saw you can buy them in Superdrug

No dark shadows

No dark shadows is an under eye concealer that can also be used to highlight your face. It is available in two shades – Wow (rosy tone) and Pizazz (yellow tone). I love the fact it is waterproof too so it is great to wear in the summer when your face may get a little more oily. I often struggle in the warmer months and before you know it, your make up is sliding and creasing all over the place!

Top shade : Pizazz

Bottom shade : Wow

The formula is slightly creamy, they are easy to apply and it blends in well. You can customise the perfect shade by mixing the two if needed. I found Wow was the perfect shade for me!

No dark shadows

At £15 I think this is a pretty good price for high-quality concealer and is pretty much on par with the top cruelty free options you can find today. I think it is always worth paying a bit more for something if it works better than cheaper alternatives.

Keeping your naked palette safe

This isn’t something I thought I needed until I saw someone post about it online and I thought ooooh yeh I better get on of those!

A lot of us carry round expensive make up with us, but one drop and that’s it your whole palette could be ruined, eyeshadows broken, mirror broken etc.

Make up storage

The wonderful Keeping Elegance have created a handy carry case, perfect to keep your Urban Decay naked palettes safe in!

You can buy them online here and I think it is such a great concept. You buy a case for your phone, iPad etc but you don’t think about protecting your make up you have just spent a lot of money on?!
