Argan Oil

I recently submitted a tip for 20 Essential and Effective Argan Oil Benefits & Tips From the UK’s Leading Beauty Bloggers, so wanted to first of all share that with you, but also write a review on a bottle of argan oil from The Body Source.

My tip was: Argan oil is amazing for your hair. You can put it on damp hair after you wash it or put it on your hair once it’s dry, it really does improve your hair and leaves it silky smooth. My tip is to take it in the bathroom with you and after you shampoo, before you condition put a bit of oil on the tips of your hair. Once you have done this you can condition as normal. This seals it into your hair and leaves it feeling and smelling great! You can always use more after your hair has dried if needed.

I have been using this specific oil for a couple of weeks now and I have seen a massive improvement in my hair. It is easy to use, you only need a small amount and it leaves your hair super soft and feeling nourished.

I have really enjoyed this oil and my split ends seem to be looking better and my overall hair condition is a lot better. I am hoping by helping my hair it may grow a bit longer, rather than breaking off as it is so damaged 🙁

This set is great for anyone, like me, that has dyed hair and is fed up of it fading so quick. Since using this range I have noticed my hair hasn’t faded so quick and it looks more healthy and shiny. It is important to use a mask or something to help your hair if you have bleached it or dyed it a lot so this kit is great as it has everything you need.

Healthy sexy hair

Healthy sexy hair

Sexy hair is a great brand and they have bought out a range called healthy sexy hair which contain lot of great oils and are sulfate free. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for a couple of weeks now (they are colour safe, which is great as my hair is currently bright red!)

My hair has drastically improved, it is more manageable and not so tangled after I wash it, it is a lot easier to brush and seems a lot softer.

Hair oils and serums are my new best friend

The last few months I have been using hair oils and serums religiously every day. My hair is such a mess from over bleaching and dying that the ends often break off and I have had to cut a lot of my hair off! The only way to save it is to cut down on dying it and styling it and try to use products to repair it.

hair serum

This serum is now one of my favourites, I have a few serums and oils I am using at the moment but this has to be one of the best. It smells so nice and doesn’t leave my hair feeling tacky or sticky.

The problem with some oils and serums is that you apply them on damp hair and as your hair drys you can steel feel them quite heavy on the hair but this formula is designed to be lightweight, so that you can see a difference in your hair but it won’t leave that horrible feeling to it.

Really impressed with this so far and will most definitely re purchase when I run out!

Naturtint

I have a crazy obsession with hair care right now. I told myself I would grow out my brunette roots and fade my blue/grey hair and eventually dye it back “normal”, but I caved in. I bleached my roots out and dyed my hair bright blue again! The main problem I have when I dye my hair is no matter what I do, my colour fades too quickly!

In my bathroom I have so many shampoos, some I know are OK to use when I have bright hair, and others that I use when I want a colour change and need to fade it fast. There are lots that claim to be colour safe and are meant to stop it fading but most of them are designed for what I call “normal” colours, not crazy blue that turns your bath into the sea every time you wash!

Naturtint

I have recently fallen in love with this range, it smells divine and it really is helping my blue stay put!

I have been using:

Colour fixing shampoo

Colour fixing protective conditioner

Anti-ageing CC cream for coloured hair

The shampoo has turned out to me my new favourite to use when I have freshly dyed my hair. After re dying it bright blue I used this for a week and honestly my hair has hardly faded. It doesn’t foam as much as other shampoos which really helps as that is when the colour fades the most, wen the shampoo foams!

The conditioner leaves my hair feeling so soft and looking fresh like I have just dyed my hair! Anyone with bright hair know how hard it is to maintain and how it is painful washing your hair and watching the colour wash away but this range is spot on.

The CC cream helps to maintain the colour by reducing damage. You use this after you wash your hair and it leaves it soft and helps to protect against heat and damage.

Using all three products together has really helped me prolong my hair colour and I am really impressed with the range 🙂
