NeuroSkinFeeds - The Micromilk

I have previously tried out the MicroOil from NeuroSkinFeeds but today wanted the share my thoughts on the MicroMilk.

It’s key ingredients are

• Aloe vera gel – hydrating; soothing and cooling; reduces inflammation and itchiness; known for its anti-bacterial and healing properties; easily absorbed. Contains vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and amino acids. Helps to hydrate the skin without any post- application greasy feeling. Locks moisture into the skin whilst leaving it smooth and soft

• Karite (shea) butter – rich in fatty acids and vitamins to soften skin. Anti-inflammatory and healing, it conditions, tones and soothes skin. Rich in vitamins A and E, it has anti- inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

• Camelina sativa seed oil – a strong antioxidant due to high vitamin E content; acts as an anti-inflammatory, calming sensitised skin, whilst adding moisture; boosts the immune system; packed with omega-3 fatty acids; enhances skin barrier function- healthy barrier function is essential for survival, as it prevents bacteria from entering the skin; suitable for all skin conditions.

• Cannabis sativa seed oil + 1% CBD – intensively nourishes and regenerates sensitive and tired skin; reduces inflammation in the skin; calms skin and reduces redness; has antioxidant and regenerative qualities to help offset damage from the sun, pollution, and ageing; rich in vitamins A and E; deeply moisturises and improves skin structure; creates a barrier, helping skin retain its own moisture; relaxes skin and mind, ensuring nutrients are absorbed better.

There is a strong connection between what you put on your skin and your mood, this ensures that only good ingredients are used to help promote a better mood.

My thoughts

I have been using this regularly the last couple of weeks as my skin has been really dry due to the weather and having the heating on. It’s really helped with any dry patches I have and it also apples so nicely and smells nice that it really does put you in a better mood after using it!

The pump bottles makes it really easy to use and you don’t need much to really make a difference to your skin. It soaks in well and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky or greasy which is a bonus.

NeuroSkinFeeds products are vegan, 100% natural and cruelty-free and suitable for sensitive skin. I would recommend both of their products I have tried.

Have you tried this before?

Maple Holistics

I have recently tried two products from Maple Holistics. First is a bath soak and second a lip balm.

The bath soak is a salt that can be added into your bath. I use about half a cup at a time. Its lavender, which is one of my all time favourite scents and as well as making my bath smell great, it leaves me feeling very soft. I find bath salts are a great treat to use once a week when you just want to lay in the bath and relax. They make a pleasant change to a bath bomb 🙂

I now take this lip balm everywhere with me. It contains vitamin e and cocoa butter and leaves my  lips feeling moisturised. I haven been wearing so much lipstick recently so I always like to have something like this on my lips.

M Botanicals sugar body balm

I have been trying this scrub for the last few weeks. It is a gentle exfoliator that leaves you super smooth.

The scrub smells great and it really helps to leave your skin soft and remove any dead skin cells and really rejuvenate your skin. I really like to scrub my legs in the bath before I shave as it seems to help 🙂

Trying a new body butter

I have been using the hydrating body butter from Althea for the last few weeks and my skin is feeling amazing. I have been using it on my legs, I would love to say every night(but most of the time I forget!), so let’s say a few times a week!

Usually I go for body butters in a tub that can be rather thick and seem to be a bit messy but this one comes in a pump and is really easy to dispense and apply.

The cream itself absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky or greasy so a big thumbs up. It smells great and leaves you feeling soft 🙂

Mio

Before today I hadn’t tried anything by Mio, I had seen their products on my recent trip to John Lewis in Kingston and also seen some of their products online.

The kit includes:

Boob Tube (bust firmer)

Workout Wonder (muscle motivating gel)

The Activist (firming active body oil)

RRP £26.50

For me, I think it’s never too early to start looking after your body. You will be grateful as you get older for all the things you did growing up! Everyone spends so much time and money on their face that the body is often neglected.

This kit is perfect for someone really wanting to start looking after themselves and wants to tackle ageing before it is too late.

The bust firmer smells great and leaves your skin feeling so smooth!

The muscle gel feels slighting strange at first as it cools your skin down.

The body oil leaves you feeling really soft, without feeling greasy. The oil is easy to apply and doesn’t make any mess.

It is a great set to try out the products, I think I might have to buy the body oil again 🙂
