With pancake day creeping upon us we decided to have pancakes for breakfast today. I love anything chocolatey but often sweet things can be loaded with calories.
I love smothering my pancakes in chocolate spread and usually go for Nutella or something similar but this year I have tried out a JimJams chocolate spread with no added sugar. I went for a milk chocolate spread but they have so many other flavours and a lot of vegan options. The dark chocolate orange one sounds soo good!

I tried out the spews with a pack of Griddle fluffy vegan chocolate chip pancake mix
The great thing about the pancake mix is that you can make it either vegan or non vegan depending on dietary requirements. I mixed it with an egg and milk but you can use plant milk and water instead. Half a pack makes about 6 small pancakes but I made 2 large ones instead.

The pancakes were so tasty and the spread was really good and not too sweet.
83 calories for a portion is really good! I like the look of these. I’m dieting atm so anything sweet tastes great. I’m going to make them for sure!
