I have been testing the 24 Hour Anti-Age Luxurious Cream is that has been shortlisted for a Pure Beauty Global Award in the Best New Premium Anti-Ageing Product category this year so I was very excited to give it a go!

As I am now in my early 30s I feel like now is the ideal time to try and prevent the ageing process as I am starting to show early signs of wrinkles around my eyes and my smile lines as well as acne scaring. It is never too early to start with anti ageing!

Dr Lamia’s Comfort Anti-Age Eye Cream and 24 Hour Anti-Age Luxurious Cream contain 3.6% of the active ingredient complex, which protects telomere DNA and increases skin cell life and functionality. Featuring a bespoke combination of ingredients and no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, mineral or silicone oils, the active peptide Eyeseryl in the Eye Cream minimises dark circles and puffiness while the 24H Cream’s olive extract rapidly increases the skin’s moisture, elasticity and smoothness throughout the day and night.

Both products are packed with vitamin E, which is a key antioxidant to prevent the skin from environmental damage caused by UV and free radicals. They also contain a high level of glycerin which will hydrate and smooth parched winter skin.

I have been using the luxurious cream for a couple of weeks now and I have been really impressed. My skin looks smoother and my acne scars are certainly clearing up! It would be interesting to see how the cream worked on someone older and with more skin concerns, eg wrinkles or dark spots. I think it has really helped with the wrinkles I was developing around my mouth and I love how soft it is when you apply it to your face. You only need a small amount and it soaks in really well!

The packaging is absolutely stunning as you can see! It looks very posh and expensive and I love the gold/brass colour combined with the white lid.
