If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you would have seen me post about taping cds to my ceiling. I was using double sided foam tape from a brand called Tesa. I hasn’t actually realised how many other products they offered that you can use around the home as I had only every heard of their fastening solutions in the industry as they are well known for their strong tapes that can be used to join pretty much anything together.
I had a couple of pictures I wanted to hang up so I used the Tesa Smart Mounting System which they launched earlier this year. Unlike the tape range which you can buy from fastener specialists, these hanging strips can be purchased on Amazon.
I was really impressed how easy they were to use. I had planned to nail into the wall to hang up a canvas I had made but things like this make your life so much easier. You can buy different options depending on the weight of your product which I think is a great idea. The fact they are removable too is good if you plan to take a picture down in the near future and don’t want to have made a massive hole in the wall by using a nail or something similar.
My husband used one of the strips to hang our canvas, I could have done it as it was easy but I am lazy haha. Didn’t take any time at all. I think they would be handy if you are renting and you aren’t allowed to hang things up ans these won’t leave a mark when removed.
What do you usually use to hang things on the wall?

I usually hang everything on double-sided tape but these look awesome!
Wow your cds look so cool! I could have done with those wall strips last week, I damaged one of the walls in my house hanging up some frames which I’m rather irritated about! Will 100% getting some of the Tesa strips!
