Making brownies

Over the last few weeks I have been making brownies and they are so so good I wanted to share the recipe with you!

Homemade brownies

Ingredients:

110g butter

110g plain chocolate

225g caster sugar

2 beaten eggs

110g plain flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

A pinch of salt

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to: 180°C / Gas mark 4

Grease a shallow oblong tin (18x28cm ideally)

Break the chocolate into a bowl and add the butter. Melt either in the microwave or over a saucepan of water.

Once this has melted you can then add in all the other ingredients and mix it all together.

Spread the mixture evening in the tin and bake in the over for 30mins.

Let it cool in the tin for 10mins and then cut it up and let it cool on a wire rack.

THEN EAT 😉

You could always add some chopped nuts or something else in to the mix!
