Another new brand that I had not tried before is Lisa Blur. I got my hands on two of her Xtreme lipsticks.
Top to bottom:
Left to right:
Both lipsticks were so creamy to apply and they are highly pigmented so you only need a small amount for full coverage. The staying power is insane as well. What more could you ask for from a lipstick?!
Not shy is a beautiful pinky plum shade and Bar crawl is more of an aubergine purple. This particular range has 13 different shades to choose from and they are priced really reasonably at £15 each.
Sometimes lipsticks make my lips feel dry but these felt really nice on my lips, It didn’t even feel like I had anything on them.
I am hoping to try some other products from this brand as I really an impressed so far.
I was recently sent a few protein drinks to try out from Ufit. I had previously been making my own with powder and hadn’t tried pre-mixed ones before.
The three flavours I tried were: Chocolate, Iced latte and Vanilla. I would either have a protein drink after working out or have it as a meal replacement for lunch, they are very filling!
My favourite flavour had to be the chocolate one as it just tasted like chocolate milkshake. I think these are great to take to work or the gym and are really easy and convenient, so you don’t have to faff around with your protein powder and milk/water trying to mix it without it being lumpy!
Need to get my hands on the strawberry one to try.
You can buy these in many different supermarkets or buy them in bulk online here.
Want fuller lips but scared to have fillers/injections? This lip plumper is the next best thing!
This was my results after my first use, taken only a few minutes apart:
The top pic is with nothing on and the bottom pic is taken just after applying the lip volume. You can instantly see my lips look a lot fuller and not so chapped, especially my lower lip. I was really impressed by how quickly I could see the difference.
I would love fuller lips but due to an accident when I was younger, I have a lot of scare tissue in my top lip so wouldn’t want to risk injections or anything.
It claims to make your lips smoother and softer by +60% and plumper by up to 40% in 30 days but you can see it working from the first use!
At £29.95 I think it is really affordable for what it is and a great alternative to lip fillers. I am going to continue to use it daily and see how good it really is 🙂
Everyone needs a bit of luxury. With Mother’s Day approaching us I wanted to share with you this beautiful DHC Olive body butter that I think would be a great gift.
This body butter is packed with lots of great ingredients including shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, squalane and argan oil. It is so good for your skin and it soaks in really quickly, leaving you smelling good and feeling super soft!
All DHC skincare products are fragrance-free, paraben-free and suitable for sensitive which is great. They are so good for your skin and are such a lovely treat.
At £17 I think this is a really good price for a present and the packaging is just beautiful.
I love trying new make up from brands I haven’t tried before. I had seen a few reviews online for a brand called Know cosmetics and saw you can buy them in Superdrug.
No dark shadows is an under eye concealer that can also be used to highlight your face. It is available in two shades – Wow (rosy tone) and Pizazz (yellow tone). I love the fact it is waterproof too so it is great to wear in the summer when your face may get a little more oily. I often struggle in the warmer months and before you know it, your make up is sliding and creasing all over the place!
Top shade : Pizazz
Bottom shade : Wow
The formula is slightly creamy, they are easy to apply and it blends in well. You can customise the perfect shade by mixing the two if needed. I found Wow was the perfect shade for me!
At £15 I think this is a pretty good price for a high quality concealer. I think it is always worth paying a bit more for something if it works better than a cheaper alternative.
