I recently came across this skincare system to give you a salon treatment but in the comfort of your own home.
The kit contains everything you need: Resurface and peel paste, resurface and peel lotion, hydrating moisturiser and an application brush.
Step 1 is to apply the paste evenly over your face
Step 2 apply the lotion, this then foams slightly on your face. Once this has been left for a few minutes you then rinse off with cold water
Step 3 apply the moisturiser, you need to make sure you use this a couple of times a day over the next few days!
My face felt SO smooth afterwards. It did like a little sore but what do you expect?!
The next morning my face was literally glowing and it felt so clean and it honestly felt brand new, The great thing about the set is even though it is quite expensive (£70) you get quite a few uses out of it. I dread to think what this would cost to have done at a salon.
I picked a weekend to do it so I could be make up free as didn’t want to clog my pores straight after!
My newest subscription discovery is Scoff Club where you can sign up to receive a box of sweets/chocolate to your door monthly.
My box included: clotted cream toffee bon bons, watermelon rockets, tutti fruiti fizzy cubes, chocolate honeycomb, jelly babies, eye poppers and reese’s pieces.
My favourite was the jelly babies and I ate the whole bag in one sitting! I like the fact there are branded items in there as well (I love Reese’s!)
For only £12.99 I think this is a great idea as a one off or as a subscription either for yourself or as a gift.
If you sign up to their website for 20% off your first box!
Now time to convince hubby I need another box….
I have always liked using mineral foundation, especially in the summer when you don’t want a full face of make up. I have been trying a brand called Earthnicity and I have been using their foundation and finishing powder.
The foundation was easy to apply and it managed to hide my blemishes well but at the same time it didn’t feel like I had much of the product on my face. It honestly doesn’t even feel like you are wearing make up. The shade matches well with my skin and is ideal to wear as the weather gets warmer and you don’t want to “cake” it on.
The velvet powder finished off your face and helps to set the powder. I was really impressed as this lasted all day. Sometimes I struggle with an oily tone but with powders rather than liquid foundation my skin looks good all day long.
The great thing about this brand is you can order a small sample kit, I think its only a couple of £s, but this way you can match your shade easily (I’m always sceptical about ordering foundation online without trying it first!)
I used to wear eyelash extensions all the time, they would last for weeks and you didn’t have to worry about them on a daily basis. I never really got the hang of false lashes as I always found them difficult to apply.
I decided to give them another go and the best ones I have found are these ones by Mink.
These are the Lace lashes and have an RRP of £24.99. They are worth the money as they are handmade a cruelty free. hey can be worn up to 25 times which is great!
They come in a handy box that you can store them in 🙂
As you all know, the wonderful Claire from Aloha Lola cards created my blog header, she has recently joined forces with Danielle who creates pictures with Disney quotes to create an opportunity for you to have a cartoon drawing of yourself or someone else(maybe as a gift?) along with a Disney quote.
They both worked together with the image I supplied(from my wedding day) and you can see how amazing the outcome is!
You can buy them from either of their Etsy shops here (digital copy) and here (physical printed copy)
This would be great if you had a particular photo you wanted or if you had one you wanted to buy as a gift for someone! I think mine is literally perfect and having the quote on there really makes a difference 🙂
A digital copy is only £10 and a printed one is £12.75 + P&P which I think is a really reasonable price, I dread to think how long something like this takes to draw!
