Nail Wrapz

I had never tried these before so was excited to see how they worked.

It is as simple as picking the size, heating it with a hair-dryer then sticking it on your nail and cutting/filing to shape.

They are super east and fun to do. It hardly takes any time at all and you get to choose from hundreds of designs!

Head over to and treat yourself

Before today I hadn't tried anything by Mio, I had seen their products on my recent trip to John Lewis in Kingston and also seen some of their products online.

The kit includes:
Boob Tube (bust firmer)
Workout Wonder (muscle motivating gel)
The Activist (firming active body oil)
RRP £26.50

For me, I think it's never too early to start looking after your body. You will be grateful as you get older for all the things you did growing up! Everyone spends so much time and money on their face that the body is often neglected.

This kit is perfect for someone really wanting to start looking after themselves and wants to tackle ageing before it is too late.

The bust firmer smells great and leaves your skin feeling so smooth!

The muscle gel feels slighting strange at first as it cools your skin down.

The body oil leaves you feeling really soft, without feeling greasy. The oil is easy to apply and doesn't make any mess.

It is a great set to try out the products, I think I might have to buy the body oil again :)

The blogger beauty box has just launched, the beautiful Vix has put together a box that can be purchased for £10 from

The box contains a great selection of products and is a great treat for any of your friends or for you to treat yourself (like I did!)

Every month it will contain a different selection of products as Vix is trying really hard to get in contact with some great brands to feature in boxes.

Dusty pacific ocean shimmer lip gloss
MooGoo moisturiser
w7 florescent kiss lipstick

I was excited as I love w7 products and I had never heard of any of the other brands before so was looking forward to trying the products as I love trying new things :)

Bee Good

This is the first product from Bee Good I have had the chance to try, it is the Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 cream cleanser

It has a beautiful soft texture and takes off your make up effortlessly when teamed with the muslin cloth. It isn't drying and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed.

I have been using this once a day(to take off my make up in the evening) and I really like the smell of it. I am really impressed with how this product has helped my face. It feels so soft and I don't seem to be breaking out as often as I did before.

Massive thumbs up!

2true have recently become one of my favourite brands. They offer good quality make up at such a reasonable price. You may recognise their name from the stands in superdrug where their products can be as cheap as £1.99 each!

To create my look below I used these products:

WOW volume mascara in no1 black
Colour drench lipstick shade 5
8hr power lip colour in Uma
Pro bright touch concealer in no1 light
Brow fix no2 blonde

I would recommend if you haven't tried any of their products yet that you pick some up next time you go shopping :) you won't be disappointed!

A must for your holiday

So with my honeymoon coming up I am starting to plan what I need to take with me. I really hate having to pack as I always go over the weight limit and try to take too much stuff!

When it comes to my hair I really don't have room for a hairdryer, curlers and straighteners so need to make a decision what to do!

I came accross a range in Tesco called Total Hair Experts (THX) and saw the cutest pick hairdryer. It folds up which is great for travelling but it has the power of a proper hairdryer (not one of those pathetic travel ones that dont work.)

The hairdryer is only £18 which is great and weighs less than half a kilo :)

They do them in other pastel colours and you can also get straighteners in the same range.

I have decided just to take a hair dryer with me as I can always plait my hair to create curls and I can dry it pretty much straight.

I really like this hairdryer as it is easy to use and  it even has two speed settings :)

You can buy it online here.

Trying to treat my oily skin

I have recently been using the Effaclar anti-blemish system from La Roche-Posay to try and calm down my oily tzone.

It is a three step system that includes a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. It is very gentle and kind to skin but at the same time it is effective with trying to calm/reduce blemishes.

On the lead up to my wedding earlier in the year I tried so many things as I was worried about having a spotty face for the big day. It was nice to have a set routine to try and to use products all from the same brand rather than lots of different things.

I used the cleanser almost as a double cleanse after I took my make up off and it left my skin feeling extremely clean and fresh, I then followed with the toner which left me feeling smooth. I used both of the products in the morning and the evening( in the evening this was after I had taken my make up off with my usual make up remover). I used the moisturiser at night and I felt like I didn't need to re apply this in the morning the next day.

I think this is a great kit for anyone wanting to improve their skin and it really helped me get into a better routine and kept my blemishes under control :)

Trying Burts Bees for the first time..

Another brand new to me is Burts Bees. I have a few products of theirs to try but I really want to share my thoughts with you on their new lip crayons.

The lip crayon is in shade Hawaiian Smolder (429) which is a beautiful pink shade. It was easy to apply and felt more like a lipsyl than a lipstick. It left my lips feeling soft a kissable with a lovely hint of colour.

I look forward to trying their other products :)

Trying some new make up

I recently discovered Make-Up Atelier Paris and what a great discovery!

I haven't got round to trying all of this yet but here are my thought on what I have tried so far:

Blush creme petale irise
Foundation FLW1B
Lip gloss RW03 rouge franc

The foundation was the perfect shade, it was easy to apply and provided a good amount of coverage without looking cakey. The foundation lasted all day, even on my oily areas.

The lip gloss was a matte shade, I tried it a few times to really test its staying power and it is great. It lasts through a meal and isn't sticky or anything. If you want to wear it all day I would advise re applying mid afternoon :)

The blush was easy to use and you didn't require much to get a nice colour. It looked very natural and I will be using it a lot more :)

Amazing concealer

There is always a product you see everyone rave on about as being the BEST THING EVER. I just had to try this for myself and I think I will have to agree with anyone else that has tried this concealer. It really is amazing.

I suffer with acne and scars on my face so I am always trying different products to hide this, without caking on make up. This concealer looks natural even though it is quite a thick consistency. It gives brilliant coverage and the shade fair was a perfect match!

Definitely worth a try!

My new favourite website, is a great place to buy reasonable priced and beautiful jewellery.

The necklace can be found here and the ring is here. Both are stunning pieces and look expensive! It is crazy how affordable they both are.

The necklace is very dainty but at the same time very sparkly and eye catching :)

The ring fits perfectly as it is adjustable!

Treat yourself or someone you love!

Handmade soap

I have been using a beautiful soap from

It is tea tree & witch hazel and smells great. Tea tree and witch hazel both have antibacterial properties so together this soap is amazing at keeping your skin fresh and clean. Recently I developed an allergy to my deodorant so had to be careful what I used in the bath. After using this for a few days the rash had nearly cleared up.

I have very sensitive skin so I prefer to use natural products and this product is now one of my favourites
