Magnitone

With my wedding coming up I am trying so hard to improve my skin. At 25 I still suffer from breakouts like I did as a teenager and it's upsetting thinking that it could ruin the best day of my life.

I have invested in a Magnitone after seeing great reviews online, I purchased it from www.magnitone.co.uk where it is £69.99

It arrived in a colourful box complete with instructions and a charger. The device itself is waterproof which is great.

Magnitone have advertised their product with a 7 day challenge, I started this on 21st October and since then I have been using this product twice a day - mornings and night when I usually cleanse my face.

It is simple and easy to use, you can apply the cleanser to your face as normal or onto the brush, then turn the brush on and let it work its magic. The feeling is strange at first is it vibrates over your face but you soon get used to it and realise how powerful the cleansing actions are. Even after the first use my face felt smooth and so clean. After the full 7 days my skin has improved, my spots have cleared up and my face is a lot softer and smoother. I will definitely be carrying on using this twice a day!

Hybrid Fashion

I wanted to show you all my beautiful dress I am going to wear for my work Christmas party next week that I was given by etailPR, it is so gorgeous I am in love.

When it arrived it looked even more stunning in real life than on their website, I feel like a queen wearing it!
As I am only 5ft 2 the dress looked quite long on me when I first put it on, but it fits perfect (size 8) and is a great length when teamed with some wedges or heels. Hybrid Fashion have an amazing selection of dresses online. The particular one I have retails for £145 and can be found here, the detail is amazing on the bodice as you can see below :
I love the split up the side, I feel like it makes the dress extra special. I don't plan on wearing much jewellery with this dress as I want the sequins to be the main attraction of my outfit.

You can buy their products online by clicking below. If you sign up to the Hybrid Fashion newsletter you can get 10% off your first order!

Now is the perfect time of year to treat yourself to an extra special dress for any festive occasions coming up or simply just because you deserve it!

Boho Betty

Earlier this month I went to the Spirit Of Christmas fair at Olympia, London. One stall really stood out for me and it was called Boho Betty. They have beautiful bracelets and I managed to pick this one up for £10.

The ladies working on the stall were so friendly and helpful and gave me information of their website (www.boho-betty.co.uk) if I decided to purchase anything else. I regret only buying this one and will most probably be placing an order online soon :)

Their bracelets are stunning and the pictures above don't do it justice! Anyone that knows me will know I love sparkly things and animal print so this was calling out my name!

Please check out their website, you won't regret it :)

Flashmob cosmetics

I came across Flashmob cosmetics recently, their whole range looks like an explosion of rainbows and unicorns. Everything is so colourful and vibrant! You can see what I mean by clicking here

I tried their liquid voltage lipgloss* range and they are all lovely. A hint of colour and a tube full of glitter! As you can see below the gloss itself is coloured as well as a burst of glitter to make your lips extra shiny and sparkly!

The pictures don't show the full intensity of the glitter, you have to catch it in just the right light! My favourite has to be the blue, I felt like a character out of Frozen as I applied this one! A great range for anyone to use and they don't leave your lips feeling sticky like most glosses do! I think these would also look great on top of lipsticks, I think I might try the purple on top of my fave purple lipstick <3

Gatineau eye make up remover

I have recently been using a Gatineau eye make up remover*, it's gentle and kind to my skin. I often get sore eyes as they are very sensitive but this product works great and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed.

You only need a small amount on a cotton wool pad for each eye and it leaves your eyes feeling clean without feeling greasy like some other eye make up removers would.

You can buy this online from www.lookfantastic.com which is one of my favourite web sites.

Gatineau is a great brand, I have previously used their cleanser which is also a fab product :)

Ricalyce

I am loving my new hat* from www.ricalyce.com. I'm not a massive hat person but will wear caps like this at the weekend to spruce up an outfit if going shopping or out for the day. I fell in love when I saw this hat online and it looks even better in real life!

Its a lovely hat, its adjustable at back and is really great quality. I love the rose print all over and the way that under the peak its a different colour. Looks great with my black and pink Fred Perry jacket :)

The hats have been featured in Vogue, this particular design retails at £35 which I think is a great price for such a high quality and fashionable item. They also have some more "bling" hats on their website so make sure you check them out!

ForYou skincare

A quick post to let you know about a new skincare range that is launching soon. I have been using a travel size moisturiser* for the past week as I always love trying new beauty products :)

You only need to use a tiny amount, I have been using it on my face and also on my elbows (I get really dry elbows in the winter). Even using it once a day for a week I still have plenty left :)

The cream is lovely to apply, it's non greasy and as well as feeling moisturising it feels very refreshing. I love the fact it made with argan oil as I am a massive fan of anything with this ingredient!

Their website is www.foryouskincare.com and there is lots of information on there about the whole range as well as a chance to receive a voucher off your first purchase :)

Kerastraight

I have recently been using the Kerastraight ultimate oil* and the heat protection spray*. In 2013 I dyed my hair about 4-5 colours over the space of the year and it was well and truly ruined! I had to have about 6 inches cut off earlier this year (my fault for dying it so often and dying it myself!) so I try my best not to straighten/curl my hair  as I am so worried about damaging it. I came across Kerastraight and I have been using both products now for about 10 days.

The oil smells amazing. I put it on after I towel dry my hair and if I leave my hair to dry naturally it dries quicker and it eliminates the frizz, if I dry it with a hairdryer it feels so much nicer and softer to manage and I can dry my hair a lot straighter than usual.

The protection spray smells divine. It is important to use this when blow drying and styling your hair with straighteners or curling irons. Over usage of these can really damage your hair so this product is great.

Before using Kerastraight I hadn't used much heat on my hair for the past 6 months but I braved it and gave it ago and I wont be looking back. I can now style my hair, making sure it's well protected and also making it look sleek and frizz free! A big thumbs up!

Me being an idiot I didn't take a decent photo of my hair to show you but I have found a couple from the weekend where I have dried my hair after using Kerastraight products and I haven't needed to straighten it as the frizz is no more!

As you can see in the bottom photos, my natural hair is a frizzy mess, but since using these new products it has really helped to tame the frizz and has made my hair look a lot healthier.

Kerastraight can be purchased on one of my fave websites www.lookfantastic.com

If anyone has tried any other products in the range I would love to know how you got on :)

Health Designs

So I came across this website in America called Health Designs (they ship to the UK pretty cheaply) and I noticed they had a sale on e.l.f. cosmetics! I placed my order and it arrived very quickly.

I managed to purchase the below for just under $20 inc shipping (it worked out about £12.50)

I decided to get in contact with the company to try and find out a bit more about delivery to the UK and I spoke with a lovely gentleman who offered me a discount code to share with all my friends. If you use the code SARAHTRADEMARK at the checkout point it will deduct $5 off your total order (you can thank me later haha)

I am usually put off ordering items from another country as delivery charges are generally massive but this website offers a really good rate to ship and I would recommend it to anyone! Planning another order from here very soon :)

Jurlique multi-correcting day cream

As the cold weather is starting and it gets to that time of year where my face becomes extremely dry - due to the cold weather and the heating on at home and work I need a miracle worker!

I use cocoa butter at night but I don't moisturise in the morning and I know I really should! I have recently been using a day cream* by Jurlique, I thought originally it was quite pricy for a moisturiser but after using it everyday for over two weeks I could really see the benefits. It is really worth investing in and smells lovely. When I first opened it I had to get my mum to smell it too as it was gorgeous. It smells like a bunch of flowers, floraly and fresh but not too overwhelming :)

It comes with a lovely little spatula as the last thing you want to do with a pot of cream is dip your fingers in it! The cream itself had a nice soft texture to it and glides gently into the skin. You only need a tiny amount, I imagine the pot will last a very long time :)

I much prefer to invest in something of better quality and pay more where you only need a tiny amount rather than something cheaper that you need half a bottle everytime you use it!

I suffer bad in the winter from dry skin on my nose and between my eyebrows/my forehead, sometimes when I apply make up you can see it and it's very unattractive! Since using this cream in the morning before I apply make up I haven't had to use primer and I have no more flakey patches on my face, just a lovely soft surface to apply my make up to. Big thumbs up for this cream, although if my mum gets her way I will have to share it so it won't last as long!

You can buy Jurlique on www.lookfantastic.com

They often offer free gifts if you spend a certain amount or have money off codes at the top of the website so always worth a look! LookFantastic is usually my go to website for Glamglow and Benefit as they always have great deals <3

Benefit primer on offer!

So my favourite primer is the Benefit porefessional and today in Boots at Westfield I saw it on offer and had to share this great deal with you all!

Usually the 22ml tube is £24.50 but you can buy 4 x 7.5ml for £15 meaning you get 30ml for £15 when it's usually 22ml for £24.50!! What a bargain :)

I couldn't find the deal online but this was at Westfield White City so if you are nearby pop in and have a look! They also had other Benefit products in the 4 for £15 deal, I think it was a different primer and an eyeliner.

Let me know if you manage to get any good Christmas beauty bargains :)

Kerastraight Event 05/11/14

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden, London for an event demonstrating Kerastraight products.

As you can see from my previous post, I have recently been using the hair oil and heat protector spray and absolutely adore them. It was lovely to meet Trevor Sorbie, the man himself and to also meet a few of the people from Kerastraight who helped explain their products.

As well as having a chance to talk to the stylists about your hair and what specific products they would recommend I had a moisturising mask treatment and a blow dry which left my hair feeling great. All of the staff there from Kerastraight and from the salon were very approachable and helpful.

After having my treatment my hair felt amazing, I couldn't stop touching it on the train ride home! I also was given some products to try at home, the products provided were recommended by Jez, the managing director of Kerastraight after he sat down and spoke to me about my main hair concerns.

As you can see in the pictures above I received a protein mask, heat protection spray, rescue cream and a de-tangling comb. I have quite damaged hair and it's often hard to comb through but after having the mask put on my hair in the salon it was so easy to manage!

Kerastraight products are available to buy online at http://www.lookfantastic.com and also in the Trevor Sorbie salon.

I would definitely recommend visiting the salon and having a treatment done and I think the mask has made my hair feel fab! It's great that you can buy these salon products to use at home and I will definitely be trying to mask myself one night next week :)
